Guiding Thoughts
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I
look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of
their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of
work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is
better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish
and worry about my liver."
-- Jack Handy
I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them.

Definition
In my never ending search to make LiverRounds better, I came across a site that offers definitions of medical slang. They define Liver Rounds as a "... social event for [healthcare providers] where alcoholic beverages are served."
The Ground Rules
Liver Rounds are held on Thursdays (Wednesdays during softball season) and typically commence at 8:00 p.m. and last until... well, until the lights come on at closing time.
Liver Rounds are open to anyone who wishes to join us. The more the merrier.
Anyone Else Out There?
Well, this site was originally intended to allow the participants of our local Liver Rounds to find out were we were going to meet, as we change from week to week. It has worked out very well for us. If anyone else out there has Liver Rounds where they work, and would like for us to put up a schedule, let me know and we would be happy to put up a page for you with a schedule like ours and associated maps. Just drop me a line at marty@liverrounds.com.
